Dr. Sheila, the driving force behind Accurate Ergonomics, has dedicated over 25 years to improving workplace health and safety. As a seasoned Chiropractor, Certified Ergonomist, and professional educator, Dr. Sheila has always been committed to helping people heal. However, she realized that the key to lasting wellness was not just treating injuries after they occurred but preventing them altogether. This insight led her to create Accurate Ergonomics, where she could apply her expertise directly at worksites, helping employers large and small comply with government regulations and build safer, healthier work environments. Her approach is holistic, providing both online and onsite customized resources tailored to the specific needs of each industry, whether for at-desk or active employees.

Mark, a former firefighter with a deep understanding of the importance of injury prevention, complements Dr. Sheila’s vision with his extensive experience in the field. Since 1987, Mark has been at the forefront of developing and implementing ergonomics and Musculoskeletal Disorder (MSD) prevention systems. His passion for protecting others didn’t end when he left the fire service—it evolved. At Accurate Ergonomics, Mark leverages over 30 years of research and hands-on experience to help organizations protect their most valuable assets: their employees. Through programs like Accurate Ergonomics’ P.O.W.E.R.™ for active employees and P.A.U.S.E.™ for at-desk workers, Mark has played a pivotal role in creating injury-free workplaces and healthier bottom lines across various industries.

In 2024, due to an increase in needs nationwide after the pandemic, Carlos and J.C. joined Team AE to assist in scaling the business to help even more people prevent chronic pain. With their combined expertise, Accurate Ergonomics is poised to expand its impact, ensuring that more organizations across the country can benefit from our proven approach to workplace health and safety.
